Nicole bass became a fan favorite on The Howard Stern Show and in truth, she left the world far too early.
Even with Howard Stern 's creative and personal evolution, there's still room for some Wack Pack fun on his SiriusXM radio show. Of course, the politically incorrect antics of Howard's menagerie of society's outcasts have lessened over the years. While some of Howard's critics loathed his inclusion of the likes of Eric The Actor, Beatlejuice, and Wendy The Slow Adult (not her original nickname) as they thought he was exploiting and making fun of them, others thought the shock jock was giving them a voice when no one else would. Either way, the Wack Pack have all been willingly thrust into the spotlight and fans of The Stern Show are fascinated to know what's happening in their lives. Especially since Howard's use for them has diminished.
While Howard Stern is a great celebrity interviewer , he's also pretty amazing at getting personal information out of anyone he speaks to. This includes members of the Wack Pack like the late-Nicole Bass. While Nicole isn't seen as the greatest member of the Wack Pack, she is certainly one of the most memorable. Whether it was Howard's writer and sound effect guru Fred Norris playing The Munsters theme song upon her arrival, or Nicole's deeply masculine yet sensitive voice, fans totally ate up her appearances on the show. While they know that Nicole passed away in 2017, they may not know about the extent of her tragic end.
Nicole Bass (later Fuchs) was born in 1965 and was an extremely active wrestler, bodybuilder, actor, and professional wrestling valent throughout her life. In the 1980s, Nicole got into bodybuilding and she continued this through the late 1990s when she won the title of Ms. Olympia at the 1997 NPC National Bodybuilding Championship. But after winning that title, there was little direction for her to go in. Therefore she became a wrestler.
Nicole made her debut appearance as a wrestler in 1999 as part of Paul Heyman's ECW. She was famous for getting into feuds with Mikey Whipwreck and Beulah McGillicutty among others. Nicole did so well as part of ECW that she briefly joined Vince McMahon at the WWE. Her first appearance in the WWE was at WrestleMania 15. This is where she was officially named Women's Champion Sable's bodyguard.
While she made some really memorable and decent moves during her brief time at WWE, it seems she was actually suffering. Upon being released from her contract, Nicole secretly filed a $120 million lawsuit against WWE due to claims of being sexually harassed by The Brooklyn Brawler (AKA Steve Lombardi). According to Sportscasting.com and The New York Times, Vince McMahon and the WWE rejected all of Nicole's claims and said that they fired her because she had "two left feet" as well as that her accusations were purely based on her anger about her termination. Due to 'inconsistencies' in her statement, the jury ruled against Nicole. This forced her to take her case to the U.S. Court of Appeals where it was swiftly thrown out.
After this case, Nicole basically vanished from the spotlight, working 'normal' jobs to pay ends meet. She didn't even wrestle again after 2002. Fortunately, she also had her established connection with The Howard Stern Show to keep her afloat until her timely death.
Simultaneously with her careers in bodybuilding and wrestling, Nicole did some acting in various soap operas including The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital. Her love of show business also led her to the most successful radio show of all time.
Nicole first appeared on The Howard Stern Show in the early 1990s when she competed in the pay-per-view television event, The Miss Howard Stern New Year's Eve Pageant. Shortly after, she became a fully-fledged member of the Wack Pack due to her masculine voice, massive physical size, and willingness to do just about anything for a laugh. Her presence on The Howard Stern Show became so fundamental to the show that she was included in Howard's movie, Private Parts.
While Nicole was often made fun of on the show, as well as admitted to being deeply unhappy about being constantly confused for a man, she never missed an appearance. It's clear that she really valued Howard's support, particularly him coming to her aide during her sexual harassment trial. Even though some didn't see the funny in Nicole's gross gags with Stern Show staffers Sal Governale and Richard Christie, nor Fred's mocking laugh, Nicole clearly was in on the joke.
She was also extremely open about her life and how deeply lonely she could get. She also was open about her love life, including her allegedly violent marriage to Bob Fuchs who passed away in 2013, and her newfound romance with her business partner, Kristen Marrone.
While her tragic experiences in the WWE and with her husband would be enough to overwhelm anyone, Nicole fought through. For the most part, she kept a positive attitude through it all did everything she could to keep herself going. However, in 2017, Nicole lost her life after a tragic heart attack at the age of 52.
Following her death, her partner Kristen put out this statement:
"A few days ago Nicole got very sick. She was brought into the hospital and they did everything they could to help her. I have been sitting here with her in the room 24/7 since she got here making sure she was being given the best possible care. Today we learned that there is nothing else that can be done. Nicole was an amazing woman. Strong not only on the outside but inside as well. Beautiful soul and kind heart. Many people knew Nicole but few ever got close enough to know the REAL woman that she was. I got to be one of the lucky few. Not only was she my soul mate and my girlfriend but she was my best friend, my teacher and my business partner. I learned many valuable things from her and created many beautiful memories in the time we had together."

Professional wrestling has long been a sport that features larger-than-life athletes. For years, commentators have often made a point to emphasize a performer’s height. This is particularly true for extremely tall wrestlers. Heck, one would be hard pressed to find one of Big Show’s matches where a commentator doesn’t mention the fact that he’s 7-feet tall.
However, for whatever reason, WWE doesn’t seem to put as much emphasis on height when it comes to their female performers. This may leave fans wondering just who are the tallest ladies to ever set foot in a WWE ring. Here are the answers.

Tamina has had many ups and downs throughout her WWE career, but she has lasted over a decade on the main roster. Tamina is one of the tallest women on the roster and utilizes her height to her advantage.
Perseverance paid off as she won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Natalya in 2021. She's also had a few reigns as 24/7 Champion. Of course, Tamina would've liked a run with a major singles championship on the main roster, but she's had a career that she can be content with.
Velvet McIntyre stands in at 5 feet 10 inches tall, yetshe had one of the shortest WWE Women's Championship reigns in history. She held the title for six days in 1986 as she beat The Fabulous Moolah for the prestigious title, but she dropped the gold back to Moolah in Sydney, Australia.
McIntyre's Women's Championship reign wasn't memorable, but she was a two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion in her own right. Moreover, McIntyre was famous for wrestling barefoot , and she was involved in a Women's Championship match with Moolah at WrestleMania 2 .
Former Diva Search contestant Michelle McCool is 5-foot-10. The Palatka, Florida native signed with WWE back in 2004 and worked there up until 2011 . Over the course of her career, she managed to capture a version of the WWE Women’s Championship on 4 separate occasions.
Fans will no doubt remember her stint as a member of LayCool along with her former tag team partner Layla. While no longer a full-time competitor, McCool still wrestles on occasion and recently performed in the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble match. The semi-retired former champ is also married to a very well known professional wrestler, The Undertaker.
Back in 1993, WWE signed 5-foot-10 Alundra Blayze to help revitalize the women’s division. During her time with the company, she is best remembered for her feuds with wrestlers like Bull Nakano and Bertha Faye. She was released from the company in 1995, due to financial difficulties. Following her release, Blayze would sign with WCW and throw the WWE Women’s Championship in the trash can in what would turn out to be the most memorable act of her career.
Blayze was blacklisted from WWE for years following the now infamous trash can incident. However, in 2015, WWE decided to let bygones be bygones and allowed Blayze to enter the Hall of Fame.
One of the handful of 5-foot-10 stars rounding out our list is none other than Charlotte Flair. The daughter of the legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair looks poised to join her father in the WWE Hall of Fame. At 36 years of age, she is already a 13-time WWE Women’s Champion .
She continued her history-making ways in April 2019 by becoming one of the first women to headline WrestleMania – along with Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch. Prior to becoming one of pro wrestling’s top stars, Flair was an outstanding volleyball player who excelled at both the high school and college level.
Though she often appeared taller, Chyna was billed as being 5-foot-10. She performed in WWE from 1997 until 2001. Known as the “Ninth Wonder of the World,” Chyna made history by becoming the first (and so far only) woman to hold the Intercontinental Championship . She was also the first female to enter the men’s Royal Rumble Match. The former D-Generation X star also holds victories over top male stars like Kurt Angle, Triple H, and Jeff Jarett. She would go on to leave the company in 2001.
Chyna would struggle with personal issues following her departure from WWE, which were chronicled on several different reality shows. She passed away in 2016 and was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of DX in April 2019.
Not to be confused with recent WWE Hall of Fame inductee Torrie Wilson, Tori (Terri Poch) was also a female wrestler during The Attitude Era – and a tall one at that. While her height was rarely mentioned by commentators, she was actually billed as being 5-foot-11, making her one of the tallest women the company has ever employed.
She was famously involved in a feud with Sable in the late 90s. Tori was also a member of D-Generation X and Kane’s on-screen girlfriend. The former DX member was released from the company in 2001. Tori would retire from wrestling soon after her release and was last seen running a yoga studio in Portland.
Retired wrestler and valet Stacey Keibler is just an inch shy of being 6-feet tall. She first debuted back in 1999 as a member of a dance troupe known as the Nitro Girls in WCW. She would go on to become a valet known as Miss Hancock and would stay with WCW until they were bought out by WWE in 2001.
Keibler would stay with World Wrestling Entertainment for the remainder of her wrestling career managing acts like the Dudley Boyz and occasionally wrestling – before calling it quits in 2006. Keibler would go to appear on the reality television show Dancing With The Stars and date actor George Clooney.
Standing at 5-foot-11, Kharma is one of the tallest ladies to work for WWE. Though she was technically under contract with the company from 2010 to 2013, she only officially wrestled in one match – the 2012 Royal Rumble. She was on pregnancy leave for a good portion of her time with the company and was granted her release in 2013.
Though she did wrestle for WWE, Kharma had far more success in TNA Wrestling, both before and after her time there. In fact, she was a 2-time TNA Knockouts Champion while performing under the ring name Awesome Kong. She recently made a surprise appearance at AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
Linda Miles (aka Shaniqua) is a name wrestling fans don’t hear very often these days. The 6-foot-tall performer was the co-winner of the 2nd season of WWE Tough Enough (along with Jackie Gayda), which is how she earned her contract with WWE. She worked for WWE from 2002 to 2004 – as both a wrestler and a manager. She never really caught on as a performer and is perhaps best remembered for managing The Basham Brothers. Miles was ultimately released from her contract in early 2004.
The former Tough Enough winner retired from pro wrestling shortly after being released from WWE. Since that time, the now 43-year-old has worked as a substitute teacher and a basketball referee.
Billed at an even 6-feet tall, Nia Jax is tied for the second tallest female wrestler in WWE history. She is a former WWE Raw Women’s Champion who signed with WWE back in 2014. Jax is currently sidelined due to injury, having suffered ACL tears in both of her knees.
Nia Jax is a member of the Anoa’i wrestling family, which features stars like Yokozuna, Roman Reigns, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. She is actually The Rock’s second cousin. Prior to becoming a professional wrestler, the 38-year-old superstar previously worked as a plus-size model and played basketball for Palomar College.
* Nia Jax was a surprising release in November 2021 considering she's a member of the Anoa'i Family. Jax is a former Raw Women's Champion , and she won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice with Shayna Baszler. The Irresistible Force is currently not wrestling for any major wrestling promotion at the moment.
Raquel Rodriguez is one of the tallest women in WWE history. She stands at 6 feet and 1 inch tall. Traditionally, WWE likes taller athletes and Raquel is an exceptional in-ring competitor. Raquel has a good resume as she is a former NXT Women's Champion and a two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Dakota Kai.
Raquel hasn't set the world on fire yet on SmackDown, although she did have a competitive match with Ronda Rousey. Raquel has time on her side and she is still only 31 years of age, but expect big things to happen in Raquel's WWE career.
At 6-foot-2, Nicole Bass has the distinction of being the tallest female performer in WWE history. Bass had a brief stint with the company back in 1999. During her time in WWE, she is arguably best remembered for being Sable’s bodyguard at WrestleMania 15 . The tall powerhouse was also featured in a feud with Debra McMichael. Prior to her WWE run, the former bodybuilder appeared in ECW for a short time back in 1998.
