As a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, Nico Robin is a beloved anime character that has inspired countless One Piece fans to cosplay as her.
Cosplay is the ideal way to show appreciation for an artistic property. Along with presenting one's passion for the whole world to see, be it online or at conventions, cosplay tends to leave room for personal touches. It is a creative endeavor that brings fanbases together and often requires a great deal of effort to put together.
One Piece 's unique character designs and status as one of the shounen genre's most transcendent franchises makes it the perfect anime to spark the imaginations of cosplayers. Introduced during the Alabasta Saga as an antagonist before joining the Straw Hats on their adventures, Nico Robin is powerful, darkly hilarious, and stylish. Here are 10 amazing Nico Robin cosplays that look just like the anime!
Natsumi_cosplay is picture-perfect as One Piece 's "Devil Child," and this photo is far from the only one that demonstrates the cosplayer's brilliance. Mimicking Robin's post-Timeskip design, Natsumi's attire is nearly a carbon copy of the source material. The only noticeable difference is that anime Robin's jacket has a larger crest than the one showcased by the cosplayer, but that is a very minor nitpick.
While special effects are hardly necessary to create stunning cosplay, the additional hands serve to elevate Natsumi's Robin to new heights.

While life on the open seas leaves little room for fancy galas and balls, Robin does have an air of sophistication and maturity, especially when compared to the likes of Luffy and Usopp.
Similar to fan art, cosplay permits beloved characters to be teleported to eras beyond the source material's reach. Despite the change in clothes, this cosplay still embodies Nico Robin.

Throughout One Piece , Nico Robin's style varies to suit the location. Out of all her looks, Robin's original attire seen during the Alabasta Saga is arguably the most iconic. Going for something akin to a western aesthetic, Robin (and karpowskaja) just ooze personality and confidence.
Karpowskaja does a fantastic job of capturing Robin at the height of her mystique when she was still known as Crocodile's second-in-command, Miss All Sunday.

Unlike many other mangas or anime, Eiichiro Oda's One Piece is more than willing to freshen up a character's design from time to time. Clothes say a lot about a person, so it is somewhat of a missed opportunity to limit a character to only one or two costumes.
Robin__ren's cosplay is inspired by Robin's design in the Thriller Bark Arc. As highlighted by the side-to-side comparison, the cosplayer seamlessly slips into Robin's dress without missing a beat.

The fanbase tends to be divided on whether the Straw Hats looked better before or after the Timeskip. Robin's redesign is particularly divisive, although that might have more to do with the character being mostly sidelined after the Timeskip.
Whether someone loves or hates Robin's redesign, this attire is popular with cosplayers for a simple reason: Robin did not have a trademark look prior to this one. Lucy_chan_cosplay presents a convincing case for why this look defines Robin.

Every Straw Hat crew member receives one saga that pushes them to the forefront. Nami had Arlong Park, Sanji's backstory was explored during Whole Cake Island, and Robin was the center of attention in Water 7 and Enies Lobby. As the latter happens to be among One Piece 's greatest arcs, Robin's black leather attire is understandably among the character's most recognizable looks.
Despite its popularity, this outfit is far from easy to convincingly pull off, even if kidzastr makes it seem otherwise. From the classic pose to the pitch-black hair, kidzastr is Robin.

Easy as it is to be blown away by chibisumichan's entire cosplay, it is the tiny details that really make this one stand out from the crowd. The cosplayer goes as far as to match Robin's blue eyes from the anime, a small touch that goes a long way in enhancing this outfit's authenticity.

A popular cosplay model with a robust catalog of creations, MeganCoffey's first attempt at bringing Nico Robin to life is undoubtedly impressive. The costume appears to be a mishmash of a couple of the character's outfits, although the main inspiration seems to be Whisky Peak Arc's version of Robin.
While the lack of a cowboy hat suggests otherwise, Robin's everchanging wardrobe extends cosplayers some creative freedom when it comes to putting together an outfit. Along with a pose that is quintessential Robin, Coffey also went the extra step and recreated the character's devil fruit power.
