Nia is one of the main protagonists in the video game Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Nia was an ordinary healer Blade belonging to the daughter of a nobleman in the Gormott Province. However, her Driver soon got incredibly ill with nothing, be it regular medicine or healing Arts, able to save her. In a last ditch attempt to save her, the nobleman fused his daughter's cells with Nia thus turning Nia into a Flesh Eater Blade. Nia lost her immortality and was raised as the nobleman's daughter. Once the nobleman died, she bonded with his Core Crystal and because she was being hunted by Indol for her Flesh Eater nature, she eventually found herself working for Torna which lead to her meeting and joining Rex.
Dromarch is Nia's Blade and partner. Like herself, Dromarch is a Healer Blade who has mastery over water. He is also responsible for the manifestation of Nia's main weapon, the Twin Rings. Chakrams that use ether energy for attacks.
In this form Nia's healing abilities massively increase, especially when she is with her Driver Rex. Nia is a Water Healer Blade based around support. In this form she has access to several Specials and Arts though she does need to be with Rex to access some of them.

Nia is the tritagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 . She is a Driver who harnesses the power of a Blade named Dromarch , who calls her "Lady" like a butler. She comes from the Gormott Province. Originally a member of Torna, she defects to Rex after Pyra 's awakening. If Nia is in the lead with Dromarch on the field, the player can control him to move on the field, with Nia riding on his back.
She is voiced by Hitomi Εwada in the Japanese version and Catrin-Mai Huw in the English version.

After the events regarding finding Pyra and her reviving Rex by sharing her Core Crystal with him, Nia defected from the Torna group and joined Rex on his journey. During a stop at a hot spring resort, Mythra joined Nia and Poppi in the spring, but as Nia got up to leave, Mythra discovered her Core Crystal and status as a Flesh Eater. Nia asked her to keep it a secret from Rex and the others, and Mythra promised to do it. However, later during the quest to find the True Aegis Sword, when Rex and the party are being overwhelmed by Addam's Phantasms, Nia, unwilling to see anyone else die on her watch, finally decides to reveal her true power and transforms into her Blade form. With that revelation, she becomes Rex's Blade until reuniting with Pyra and Mythra, where Rex gains his Master Driver status and awakens Pneuma.
Nia switches back and forth between her Blade and Driver forms as she continues to help Rex against Malos until the final battle against him in Artifice Aion. After Malos is mortally wounded by Rex and Pneuma and dies, Nia
