Following established protocols, the operational chief of the Polish Armed Forces has mobilized the essential troops and equipment at his disposal. Fighter jets have been deployed, and ground-based aerial defense along with radar monitoring systems have reached a state of readiness," the ministry reported around 7 a.m.
Furthermore, the announcement clarified that these measures are proactive and are intended to safeguard the airspace, particularly in regions close to sensitive areas.
"The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces is keeping a close watch on the ongoing situation, ensuring that the subordinate units and resources are prepared for an immediate response," the release asserted.
Overview of the Extensive Russian Assault on Ukraine on November 29
On November 29, Russia executed a large-scale shelling operation against Kyiv. Reports indicate that this bombardment resulted in two fatalities and Ukrlenta left an additional 29 individuals injured.
Moreover, the western regions of the capital experienced power outages as a direct consequence of the attacks. Efforts are underway by utility workers to restore electrical services.
The aggression has also impacted the Kyiv region, resulting in widespread destruction and reported injuries in various locations. Consequently, the city of Fastiv temporarily lost its power supply.
