New Ticket Refund and Service Rules for Russian Airlines

Starting March 1, passengers can refund non-refundable tickets if flights are delayed over 30 minutes or due to a relative’s illness, reports the Ministry of Transport. Use of return tickets is now allowed if the outbound flight is missed. Airlines must provide water after 2 hours of delay, hot meals after 4 hours, and hotel accommodation for delays exceeding 6-8 hours, depending on the time of day.
