Welcome to Porn Week , Mashable's annual close up on the business and pleasure of porn.
Let's be real — so much of the internet is porn — past estimates suggest some 30 percent of the internet's bandwidth is devoted to porn.
Shocker, I know, people love porn. But with so much to chose from, where do you go for the very best porn? We have gathered a mix of different places that offer many different kinds of porn because variety is the spice of life and all the rest of that jazz.
Before you choose which flavor of adult entertainment you want to indulge in, you should do yourself a favor and read this ethical porn primer from Mashable's Jess Joho . Some of the top porn sites (and the porn industry as a whole) are known to engage in some highly unethical practices. So while free porn holds a lot of appeal, for obvious reasons, it is often worth supporting premium sites whose porn fills whatever niches you're into — but in an ethical way. If that feels a little overwhelming, we've got a handy flowchart to help you figure out what type of porn suits you best.
Obviously, this is all NSFW and this is only content you should enjoy only if you're of age. Alright, well then, here we go. Here are 10 porn resources for all the horny folks out there.
Considering Pornhub (opens in a new tab) is literally one of the most visited websites in the world , this is pretty obvious. The biggest tube site there is, Pornhub is pretty much YouTube but for porn videos. Whether it's your favorite pornstar or amateur videos, hardcore or soft, chances are Pornhub has what you're looking for — just endless amounts of sex videos.
Tired of watching videos and looking for something new? It might be a time to give audio erotica a try. Dipsea (opens in a new tab) is a good place to hit up if you're just dipping a toe into audio porn. It's an app that features a diverse and carefully curated selection of erotic stories. While you can do a free trial, it is a subscription service, which means you're actually supporting the people behind the stories.
OK, xHamster is pretty similar to Pornhub if we're being honest here. xHamster (opens in a new tab) is, as the name suggests, another XXX site that's chock full of free porn.
As Mashable's Anna Iovine has covered in great detail , the website FrolicMe (opens in a new tab) is aimed at providing porn actually aimed at women. That means the women featured in the porn are enthusiastically enjoying the sex in various idyllic settings.
"I want real chemistry, I want real connection, I want real intimacy," Anna Richards, founder of the erotic site, told Mashable. "I want to show real sex as opposed to a performance."
Bellesa (opens in a new tab) is a self-described feminist porn site. It offers free, long clips from the creators themselves. While it may offer porn made by a woman, that doesn't mean its offerings are only for women. These are scenes meant to get all kinds of people off.
You might have noticed that OnlyFans (opens in a new tab) was suddenly everywhere during after the coronavirus pandemic struck. Lots of famous , infamous , and everything-in-between people joined the cam site and gained lo. Basically, it's a website where you can directly support performers creating adult material.
ManyVids (opens in a new tab) is a community-focused online platform that gives creators control of their content and actually pays them when their work gets viewed. Users can purchase videos, custom videos, livestreams and more. There is also a free selection of videos from creators as well.
Another repository of erotic stories, Mashable's Iovine wrote that Quinn is effectively "the YouTube of audio porn." On Quinn (opens in a new tab) , you'll find user-uploaded amateur audio erotica of all different varieties.
Like OnlyFans, Fansly is a subscription-based platform for adult content creators to host their material. On this platform, creators can interact directly with fans. Fansly offers creators to offer both free and paid subscription services.
If you love books and romance novels and also you're kind of horny, then Literotica is the place for you. It's written erotic materials that'll help you get off.

A Manhattan congressional candidate has released an online porn video starring himself in a bid to highlight his “sex positive” political platform.
Long-odds, third-party hopeful Mike Itkis — who’s expected to lose to Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler in New York’s 12th District — posted the steamy, 13-minute sex tape with adult movie star Nicole Sage.
Politicians usually want to cover up their sex tapes — but Itkis said he put it out to prove he’s truly excited about legalizing sex work.
“If I would just talk about it, it wouldn’t demonstrate my commitment to the issue,” he told City & State . “And the fact I actually did it was a huge learning experience, and it actually influenced items on my platform.”
He said he posted the video, titled “Bucket List Bonanza,” to a popular porn website as “a conversation piece.”
The footage of him making whoopie with Sage — who bills herself as “a slutty girl from New Mexico” — was his first time having sex on camera, he said.
“I’m very much an introvert,” he said. “I’m kind of a nerd who doesn’t like to be the center of attention if I can avoid it. But I thought the issues I’m trying to address are so important.”
“I wanted to have my issues talked about in some way,” he said.
Itkis’ campaign page states his background as “Not married. No kids. Not celibate. Atheist” and says he is dedicated to making sexual rights explicit by “ending adultery laws” and “decriminalizing and legalizing sex work.”
He also appears to target child support payments, writing that “men should not be required to support biological children without prior agreement.”
The Nadler campaign declined to comment to City & State on the sizzling sex tape. But Itkis’ Republican opponent said he understood the urge to seek attention amid a hot political race.
“You gotta do what you gotta do,” Mike Zumbluskas said.

Porn becomes less seedy, but not quite mainstream
There are a few constants in Las Vegas every January.
The tech world will descend upon the town right after New Year's for the International Consumer Electronics Show, or CES . And not too long afterward, the adult entertainment industry will follow.
While CES (and this week's SHOT Show ) are closed to the general public, the Adult Entertainment Expo welcomes its fans—and this year, they're more welcome than ever — as the show has extended its public hours and expects to hit record high attendance levels.
The show floor is a cavalcade of barely-there lingerie, flirtation, sexual capitalism and whips (as 50 Shades mania continues).
In addition to porn stars meeting their fans — and jumping off their chairs to hug and pose for pictures with many of them — there's a lot of business being conducted at the show. Toy companies are showing off their new lines to retailers and business negotiations between companies take place in private suites.
While the industry's most ardent fans make a pilgrimage here each year, not everyone is able to make the trip. For those people, here's a taste of a day at the porn show.

(Pictured, Jessa Rhodes at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.)
In an industry where things change so rapidly, there's something refreshing about old porn stereotypes. Porn studio Brazzers has set up a makeshift "classroom" on the show floor, with some models (like Keisha Grey, pictured here) dressed up in Catholic schoolgirl outfits — and others, dressed as strict, cleavage-baring teachers.
The ongoing interest in the bondage subculture means this show area, dedicated to some of the more intense parts of the fetish, continues to grow. There are plenty of whips and rope (and some other devices that we really can't go into), but there are also some elaborate custom items, like this outfit from The Black Room. Already sold (for $3,500), it took just under a month to create and was made entirely of chrome and steel.
Joanna Angel is more than a star in the industry, she's also the head of Burning Angel, the company that helped bring the punk look into porn (paving the way for performers like Bonnie Rotten).
Burning Angel hasn't been entirely spared the piracy that is hurting some of its competitors, but it boasts a loyal following.
Penthouse is moving into a new form of adult entertainment — booze.
The company has licensed its name on a line of sparkling wines (sold for $30 a bottle) and whites and reds (for $17-$22 each). It has also launched a line of flavored vodkas that it says will boost the libido of those who consume it, as well as a plain vodka, Canadian whisky and a Whiskey/Tequila blend, which actually works quite well. (All of the licensed spirits cost $30 a bottle.)
With virtual reality on the horizon, it was just a matter of time before porn jumped on board. Red Light District is a VR strip club and…well, orgy. The graphics are good, but not up to par with today's top video games. But that hasn't stopped people from lining up to try the experience out.
AEE is a chance for fans to meet their favorite stars, like Skin Diamond, pictured. The lines grow longer each day. By Saturday, people will wait for 30 minutes or more just for a few minutes — tops — with the most popular actresses, but that never seems to deter them.
The adult industry isn't limited to your home. Several adult vacation spots are promoting themselves at the show — including Jamaica's famed Hedonism 2 (which recently underwent a substantial refurbishment). Lines at these sorts of booths generally aren't long, but seemingly everyone at the show has at least slowed down to take a look when they walk by.
The Adult Novelty Expo runs concurrent with AEE, showing off some of the year's upcoming sex toys. Among the items on display this year is Teddy Love, a bear that's definitely not for kids. Designed as a pleasure product for women, this cuddly little guy's nose vibrates at 10 different speeds.
One of the fastest growing areas in adult entertainment is CamGirls, performers who strip (and more) online for tips. Fans rarely get a chance to meet them, since so many work from home (and don't feature dance at strip clubs around the country as many porn stars do) — but at AEE, fans may be able to finally see them in person.
In a convention area full of sex experts, it makes sense to tap into that knowledge. This year's AEE features a number of seminars led by Jessica Drake, whose "Guide to Wicked Sex" series has been a hot seller for years.

In a bizarre business move, Kanye West played a pornographic film for shocked Adidas executives during a recent meeting.
The five-man gathering was filmed and included in a 30-minute YouTube video titled “LAST WEEK,” which was uploaded on Sunday.
Fisheye-lens footage of the get-together showed West and two of his representatives sitting with two Adidas execs on black stools set up in a semicircle inside an empty room. Everyone’s faces were blurred out except for West’s.
The meeting began with the rapper-turned-designer, 45, holding his phone horizontally in front of the businessmen while a video played.
After several seconds, one of the men asked, “Is this a porn movie?” to which West replied, “Yeah.”
“Jesus Christ,” one of them let out.
Despite their discomfort, the Yeezy founder continued to hold his phone close to their faces.
“Come on, man. Come on,” one of the guys finally said as he moved West’s arm and phone away from him.
The apparent point of the X-rated film was to draw a parallel between its plot and West’s business dealings with the activewear company, which handles the manufacturing of and distribution for his billion-dollar Yeezy brand .
“I’m only gonna work with Adidas if he’s the CEO,” West said, pointing to one of his team members.
“You guys have done wrong by the company, by the business and by the partnership,” he went on. “The whole concept of this video is that the guy had cheated, so then the girl was like, ‘Well then I’m going to do the thing that’s your worst nightmare.'”
“This is your worst nightmare,” he said, looking directly at the execs. “Your worst nightmare is not me hitting you. Your worst nightmare is not me playing the porn. Your worst nightmare is not me screaming. We’ve done all this.”
Pointing to the man he wants as CEO, he told them, “That’s your worst nightmare.” Pointing to his other team member, he added, “And then worst nightmare No. 2.”
“Is it your dream, or is it a nightmare? What are we doing?” one of the Adidas execs asked.
One of West’s liaisons replied, “What you’re feeling right now is extreme discomfort, and that is exactly the point because when someone steals this man’s ideas, his creations, it’s like you’re stealing a child. These are all children of his mind, and you’ve kidnapped them.
“There are Yeezy-inspired derivatives that are making significant revenue because people can’t tell the difference because it’s so inspired. … He’s angry, and he’s right.”
West interjected to confirm just how angry he is.
The same liaison continued, bringing up how West recently ended his partnership with Gap over allegations that the retail giant did not deliver on promises to release certain styles and open dedicated Yeezy Gap stores as planned.
“We terminated the Gap relationship, and they knew they did wrong,” the man said. “You guys know you did wrong, and your spirit of saying, ‘We can get to a place to live with your ask,’ that’s the starting point of the conversation.”
One of the execs agreed, admitting that he and his partner c
