I cant see why you have to keep away from horses while nude??
I've been on horseback (without saddle) nude driving through a love place (woods and dunes) enjoying the sunshine, relaxing in those dunes with the horses arround and can't remember anything scarry about that

Natural locales like a forest or a lake are great, I would suggest a resort but most require a parent or legal guardian for minors, I suggest a beach but the bulk of the true naturists are in the resorts most of the time.

If you wanna just get naked then go the beach with a friend late at night.

trailracer, if you life right in the middle of Baltimore, I don't know where you can go except up on a rooftop to get some sun. If you live in a small town or in the country, you have a few more options.

When I was 15, I could go pretty far on a bike, and find a creek or lake for a quick dip. On weekdays you often have the woods to yourself. If you are careful and take the time to learn the land, you can find lots of places to be nude.

My uncle used to have a houseboat and we would take it out to the lake and go skinnydipping at night. I even snuck away and did it in the day using the old "slip out of your shorts in the water trick".

Swimming in the ocean at night spooks me. There's big fish out there that swim closer to shore at night. Be careful! I guess you don't have alligators in Maryland lakes to worry about. We've got them in south Georgia and Florida, but if you swim with local people who know the water you should be a lot safer.

If you can get a ride into the mountains, you could camp out in the National Forest and find some time to be nude. Have you got any friends into this?

Being nude outdoors is cool, but it's smart to take a buddy for safety from rednecks, rattlesnakes, and sprained ankles, etc.

Don [/qb] I live near Los Angeles, beaches down here are usually outlawed, and any that are contain minimal to zero nudists yet dozens of spectators hoping to catch a glimpse of something, the resorts here however are where you can meet great people, not that you wouldnt on a beach, I guess its my personal experiences that make me think that way.

Have you ever been to Blacks Beach? Nudity is not outlawed, there are plenty of nudists, yes there are some gawkers. I have met great people there.

OK JJA, I understand your viewpoint but I feel TRUE NUDISTS are those who venture onto a beach, such as Blacks,who are willing to go to some trouble to get there, who put up with a lack of restrooms, who carry their own supplies in and out, who love the ocean, who are not at all bothered by gawkers, who reject the more sterile atmosphere of a club setting, who love to wallow in sand, who generally pay nothing to enter the beach etc, etc.
I do hope you try Blacks. Just be very careful climbing down and returning. Its worth all the effort.

I love being nude, especially outdoors. Years ago, as a kid, and to this day, I did not get dressed immediately after my shower. If it was summer and fan was blowing it felt even better to ‘air dry’. I have always been comfortable being nude around the house, mostly upstairs in the bedroom areas. Before kids and a husband, I would clean the house in my underwear. Many times, I experienced and loved skinny dipping. So, when my brother–in–law "confessed" to me that he and my sister were naturists. My first reaction was laughter: my second reaction was ‘I have got to try this!’ My BIL showed me some web sites and introduced me to the philosophy of nudism. I talked to my boyfriend, who thought I was nuts, but he agreed to try it. Every day after that, I was on the internet reading message boards, and woman’s first time experiences. I wanted to go with all my being, but I was nervous at the same time. But, after reading so many first time experiences all saying the same thing, I began to relax about attending a naturist event. My first experience was at a non-land club, it was recommended by one of my friends on a nudist dating site . I immediately felt comfortable. It's like the old saying ‘When in Rome, do as the Romans.’ Everyone was nude and comfortable, so it was not hard to join in. We brought our snacks to share, our towel and some beer to drink. The people were friendly; the water felt good without a suit on and the night ended all too quickly. In the summer, I travel to naturist camps. I LOVE being outdoors, sunning, swimming and enjoying the wonderful people at these co-ops. I feel fortunate to be able to understand the naturist lifestyle and enjoy a wonderful and relaxing experience. We are a NUDE when possible, clothed when practical club, so there is no pressure to be nude right away, except to be in the pool, and then you must be nude. The atmosphere is very family friendly, from kids to grandparents. Sincerely,
