The new 6- and 8-bay ReadyNAS desktop storage encompass the performance and scalability of ReadyNAS 420 series. Netgear, a networking devices provider for home and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has come up with ReadyNAS OS 6.7, the latest ReadyNAS operating system version designed to safeguard data via fine five defense levels, Netgear ReadyNAS backup,ReadyClOUD flexible file sharing, and disaster recovery.

The ReadyNAS OS 6.7 is powered by new enterprise-level capabilities such as automatic bi-directional synchronization in-between any public cloud storage services and ReadyNAS model including Dropbox, Amazon Cloud Drive, Amazon AWS, and the Google Drive. The ideal hybrid cloud solution for SMBs to back up and synchronize on-site storage to the cloud and vice-versa.

With the launch of the new ReadyNAS OS, the Netgear has also announced the ReadyNAS 420 series in its Network Attached Storage (NAS) product family.A great storage platform for flawless file sharing, the 6- and 8-bay ReadyNAS 426 and ReadyNAS 428 respectively extend the scalability and performance of current 2- and 4-bay ReadyNAS configurations.

Keeping the small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in mind, the ReadyNAS 420 series network attached storage has high performance, auto backup for Windows, MAC, and Linux-based computers, all-in-one file server, and remote or cloud locations.

Already configure in 2- and 4-bay NAS, the new 6-bay model RN426 supports up to 60TB storage whereas the new 8-bay model RN428 give an option of 80TB of storage. Compared with the previous ReadyNAS 316 model, the ReadyNAS 426 and NAS 428 offer twice the data storage with 50 percent fast data encryption along with improved business-class industrial design.
