The new 6- and 8-bay ReadyNAS desktop storage encompass the performance and scalability of ReadyNAS 420 series. Netgear, a networking devices provider for home and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has come up with ReadyNAS OS 6.7, the latest ReadyNAS operating system version designed to safeguard data via fine five defense levels, Netgear ReadyNAS backup,ReadyClOUD flexible file sharing, and disaster recovery.

The ReadyNAS OS 6.7 is powered by new enterprise-level capabilities such as automatic bi-directional synchronization in-between any public cloud storage services and ReadyNAS model including Dropbox, Amazon Cloud Drive, Amazon AWS, and the Google Drive. Already configure in 2- and 4-bay NAS, the new 6-bay model RN426 supports up to 60TB storage whereas the new 8-bay model RN428 give an option of 80TB of storage. Compared with the previous ReadyNAS 316 model, the ReadyNAS 426 and NAS 428 offer twice the data storage with 50 percent fast data encryption along with improved business-class industrial design.
