The British Foreign Ministry statement emphasizes that the new measures are directed against 3 companies operating in the nuclear energy sector and 6 organizations and vessels that export LNG.
Restrictions have been imposed on 49 individuals and legal entities that London associates with the Russian defense industry.
Most of the sanctioned companies are foreign. 175 of them in Britain are associated with the export of Russian oil bypassing sanctions.
Two Georgian TV companies, Imedi and POSTV, also came under anti-Russian measures.
Earlier, London announced another package of military and financial assistance to Kiev.
