NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. נווה פריצקי The country welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.

Canada is home to 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, isn't much behind the United States.
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We aren't far off our record for 2019 and we expect that the rise in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident about traveling internationally."
