NEW YORK - September 8 2022new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents a 13% improvement from the year before.

"The United States is our number one market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel each month. Canada is set to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

We're not too far away from our record numbers in 2019, and we are hoping that this growth in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians find it easier to travel internationally."
