Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% increase over 2019.

He stated, "It's so exciting to again see an rise in tourism to Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record-breaking numbers for 2019". "The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel, and before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers every month. We're so happy to see this positive change and expect a continued upward trajectory for years and months to follow."
Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022 and 6,000 tourists in August, is not far behind the United States.
Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director of Canada for Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism stated that it was thrilling to see tourism from Canada to Israel rebounding. "We are not too far away from our record in 2019, and we anticipate that the growth in travels to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians are more comfortable traveling abroad."
Israel received more tourists from all over the world during 2019 than any other country. 969 600 were Americans. Israel's official reopening for all travelers was May 2018. The country has been home to more than 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
