Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- In July and August 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over 2019 seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism numbers each month. We are delighted to see this positive shift and are expecting an upward trend that will continue for months, and possibly years.
Just like in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourist arrivals in Israel by 7,200 tourists in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.
