Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% growth over 2019.

Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada had 7,200 visitors while August was a record 6,000.
Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director of Canada for Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that it was thrilling to see Canada's tourism to Israel rebounding. "We are getting close to our record-setting numbers in 2019. We expect that this increase will continue to grow as Canadians visit more countries.
Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists in 2019. 969,600 of them were of the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
