NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was exciting to see the growth in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourists entering the country month after month.
