Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- New record breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.
"It is so thrilling to see yet another rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019." stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our most important destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we saw record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are so happy to have witnessed an improvement in the trend and anticipate it to continue for many months and years."
Canada is also on track, like the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. נווה פריצקי In July 2022, Canada received 7,200 visitors and August was a record the number increase to 6,000.

"We aren't too far from our record-setting numbers in 2019 and we anticipate that this increase in tourism to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians remain comfortable travelling abroad."
Israel received more than 4.6 million international tourists in the year 2019 including 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless whether they have been vaccinated. The country has already hosted over 600,000.
