Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry From the USA
NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% over the year before.
Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is our top destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are thrilled to witness an improvement in the trend and expect it to continue throughout the months and years to come."
Canada, which has 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 in August isn't much from the United States.

We are getting close to our record numbers for 2019 and we expect that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue as Canadians feel more at home when they travel abroad.
In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to any traveler regardless of the status of their vaccination in May of this year, the country has already witnessed more than 600,400 US tourists.
