Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism The numbers come from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of tourist arrivals from the United States. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

Canada is not far from the United States of America, is on track for surpassing its tourist arrivals to Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in tourists in August.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May, the country has already received over 600,400 US tourists.
