Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. Canada with 7,200 visitors in July 2022, and 6,000 in August isn't much from the United States.
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We aren't far off our record 2019, and we anticipate that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to grow because Canadians feel more confident about traveling across the globe."
Israel received more visitors from around the world in 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 were Americans. Israel's official opening for travellers from May 2018. The country has welcomed over 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
