Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of visitors from America. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He said, "It's so exciting to again see an increase of tourism to Israel from America, already reaching or surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel and prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 that was sweeping the world, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entries each month. We're extremely pleased to witness an improvement in the trend and expect a continued upswing for the months and years to come."
