NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

"The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel and prior to the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entries month after month; We're extremely pleased to witness an improvement in the trend and expect a continued upward trajectory for many months and years to follow."
