NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. We're close to reaching our record-setting numbers for the year 2019, and we are anticipating that this growth in travel to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians are more comfortable at home in Israel.
In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to everyone regardless of their vaccination status in May, the country has already seen more than 600,400 US tourists.
