Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% growth over 2019.

"The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entries each month. We're so happy to see this positive change and expect a continued upswing for the months and years to follow."
Not far behind the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourism numbers in Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 , and 6,600 in August.

We are still not far from our record 2019 numbers and we expect that this increase in Israel travel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the world."
