NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of visitors from America. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.

Canada which isn't too far from the United States of America, is set to beat the tourist numbers to Israel. The country had 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 visitors in August.
"It is thrilling to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is growing," said Gal Hana Director and Consul for Canada of the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are getting close to our record-setting numbers in 2019. We expect that this increase will continue as Canadians travel more abroad.
