Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record Breaking Tourism Entry Numbers - United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. נווה פריצקי This was a 4 percent increase over the year before seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he added. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we had record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are so happy to see this positive change and anticipate it to continue for a long time."
Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August saw the number increase to 6,000.
