Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry From the USA
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from the year before.

Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 that was in the news, we had record-breaking tourism numbers each month. Canada is poised to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists in 2019. 969,600 were from the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
