Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Break Tourism Entry The Numbers Come from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before.

Actually, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entry month after month. This is a positive shift that we are pleased to witness and anticipate an increase in the months to follow."
Not far behind in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourist arrivals in Israel by 7,200 tourists in July 2022 , and 6000 in August.
