Negotiations were held with Italian agronomists specializing in saffron cultivation

On January 26, representatives of the Uzbek-Italian joint venture BMB-OPERA ZAFFERANO held talks with an Italian saffron grower.

During the videoconference, agronomist Angelo Sena expressed his views on the agro-technical activities carried out at the saffron plantation in Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region.

In particular, the Italian expert gave relevant recommendations on all types of agro-technical activities carried out during the seasons, including the collection of saffron flowers, the process of separating their stigmas, the production building and the requirements for workers.
