Nope. As I understand it, Steam have changed their policy on games with sexual content.

This is the first absolute nude adult game on steam. There's not need nude patch

I am betting strongly that there is no real sexual content. Nipples at best.

"Negligee: Love Stories", an uncensored game released on Steam, would be unavailable to certain countries.

If this sets a precedent it'll basically mean instead of getting the censored game on Steam + uncensor patch, you won't be able to get the game at all in those regions.
EDIT: All threads on the Steam forum about region locked are being locked, too.
What they can do is release an all-ages version and have the 18+ content as optional DLC. Would mean you cant access the 18+ DLC in the countries posted.
Also one thing to keep in mind that the amount of countries restricted might decrease in the future, for example germany is blocked because steam doesnt have a third-party age verification system, only their own. But then again, it might also increase due to laws/complaints from the country itself.
This is what I did expect for adult only games, especially ones pertaining sexual content as that is considered less acceptable then violence in many countries. Also from what I read, some of these countries have banned the game itself - "Several of the restricted countries banned the game which prompted us to realise that we cant release it under the radar. "
According to post, the game would be forbidden to purchase in following countries
Japan, Malaysia, Botswana, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Uganda, Bangladesh, China, Lebenon, South Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Iceland, Ukraine, Russia, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Guyana, Iraq, Dubai, UIE, Germany

This was my prediction when Steam decided to allow uncensored games - that more games would be subjective to region restriction.
I agree the idea that customers should be able to decide which game is inappropriate, not Valve. In practice, however, this means those games will be simply banned to be purchased in countries that heavily regulate sexuality in games.
Before the Steam incident come, those games offered 18+ DLC in their own company site and countries wouldn't bother to check it if that game is not produced by AAA company because it is impossible to check all of them. However, now companies started to provide 18+ DLC in Steam, which is heavily watched by those countries.
I fear that customers in those countries will actually have less access than before. Moreover, I am afraid that there would be countries that now consider Steam as 'Corrupted' and decide to ban it or apply genre-wise restriction.
Australia and Germany are weird standouts.
Japan? Wut? My ignorant self doesn't understand...
There are no thailand....that mean our gov. don't know about it yet.

I am amazed that game is blocked in this countries : Belarus, Iceland, Ukraine, South Korea .
The only one out of this that really strikes me as crazy is Japan, but I know it's because it's uncensored.
I thought they only hated small tits, not big ones.
I'm still curious as to who sets these bans.
Either Steam has some weird list they try and follow, so the bans will be for all 18+ porn games forever, or it is done by reports, which means all trolls can ban the game if they can reach the game from your country IPs.
Lastly there is an option where each country actually has a legal porn section that browse Steam and other internet stores to report on what they can sell and not sell. But I'm not sure I've ever heard of any country hiring people to block porn.
So, even being from Germany, I dont understand he problem here: Steam already sells games rated 18 by the USK - let´s take DOOM 2016 as example. I can buy it uncut and play it perfectly fine. I can also see (and therefore buy) the new Shining Song Starnova, which also contains a mature / 18+ patch. No problems here. Then why is Negligee:Love Stories different from this? Can someone explain the problem or are the developers just too scared to try it? Also, how is the age restriction handled in other countries?
It will be uncensored since launch without any external patch, a lot of countries have law's against pornographic content.
As a Russian, it really sucks. If other games follow suit, I'll be really disappointed.
Of course I can buy games on JAST/MangaGamer, but some of the prices are too steep and I was hoping that with regional pricing I could buy more games legally.
Oh well, I still hope for the best though.

The game is still being reviewed, but we were given feedback on the last version of the game, and assured that as long as we properly fill in the Mature Content Survey with details on what the game includes then the game will be allowed to release. But we still need to wait for the game to be reviewed and it confirmed. The last set of feedback did not include any notes saying content in the game was not appropriate for release. If you go to the store page for the game, you will see a new section that details all of the adult content in the game. Which is taken from the mature content survey. The version we have sent for review, is the completely uncensored edition of the game, if this is accepted as we hope it will, it will mean no patch will be needed to unlock content within the game.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.


I can now confirm that our post is completely true, the 100% uncensored version of the game has now cleared steams review process and they have given it a thumbs up for release. As such the full uncensored version will be releasing this Friday (14th September) as we felt, why make people wait now we have got the go ahead...

At last, an uncensored game in steam! Congratulations!!

I dislike Dharker, but it's a step in the right direction.

I usually don't buy VNs, i will buy this one though, since It will bring a lot more diversity, and no censored crap.

Only finished one rout and its the stories good i just wish your choices meant something more cruial like you could tell if you made a wrong turn instead of just a slight variation then going on with the main story then find out at the end you messed up somewhere.

That would likely depend on your local laws not the game makers.
