Nearly half of Russians do not have any savings

According to the Superjob survey, almost half of Russians have no savings, and only 7% of our fellow citizens will be able to live on their savings for more than one year
What happens The Superjob.ru research center has conducted a survey among Russians about financial planning and savings: only 15% in case of loss of income will be able to live more than six months on their savings, and only 7% — more than a year. 13% of respondents would have enough savings for a period of less than a month, 18% — from 1 to 2 months, 11% — from 3 months to six months. It is noteworthy that 43% of Russians do not have any savings. According to Superjob, this indicator increased by 3% compared to the pre-dock year 2019. Most often, respondents with incomes less than ₽50,000 fall into this group. It is worth noting that most Russians (65%) somehow control their income and expenses — and the more respondents earn, the more they are inclined to account for their finances. In addition, two-thirds of Russians plan their future income and expenses: 38% — for a period of less than six months, 17% — up to a year, and 11% — for a longer period.
