PLEASE DO NOT VISIT NUCH!!!! Nuch has alot of customers as compared to its neighbours. I visited them for 2 days straight and on the 3rd day, a male masseur greeted me and guided me to the room upstairs. It was a bed and i kept telling him I'm doing foot massage. He assured me that we are doing foot massage so i accepted it and lay down as instructed. I was not given any long pants and was wearing shorts.(I had done massage with male masseur before and i thought it was going to be safe) The massage was as per normal until the last 15mins which is the shoulder massage. He was massaging my shoulders and slowly made his way down to my chest. I thought it was just a short massage around the area but i was so wrong. HE WAS MASSAGING MY BREAST FOR A GOOD MINUTE till i asked him to massage my shoulders only. Afterwards, he massaged my back and slowly made his way down to my butt area. I don't dare to say a word as there wasn't anyone in the room. When he told me he was done, i quickly ran down to the counter and told the woman i was molested by the male masseur and told her i was not going to pay for the service. She refunded my money and apologised. However, the masseur did not look guilty or apologetic at all. There were 4 of us visiting Nuch and i wanted to get all the money back but the cashier said only i had a problem with my masseur and not the rest. She even let me speak to the boss and they kept telling me the same thing. There was no compensation for being molested and i couldn't do anything about it. So we decided to leave the place. When we were on the way back to the hotel, we turn around and saw him following us at the back. So we quickly ran to the hotel lobby and saw him walking away. Luckily nothing happened to all of us. SO PLEASE DO NOT VISIT NUCH!!!!
Staying around the area, there's no shortage of massage parlours in Soi 24. Took a notice of centerpoint and Nuch. But since I've tried Centrepoint, decided to try Nuch this time round. It was indeed a delight! The first time was done by a guy, and the strength was really good. The next time was by a lady, not as strong, but equally good. I enjoyed the shoulder and neck massage after the foot massage more. For those stay in around the area, this is a great place for your foot massage! Moreover, ones given a free foot massage after the 10th!
The place is simply the best spa in bangkok for foot ad upper back massage. I have been there dozens of times and will continue to come again. The therapists are the best you can find in the city and they never fail.
this place is often frequented by Japanese and is packed most times simply for the reason that their massage is professional. Their rates are kept reasonable but don't forget to tip your therapist. Definitely a return factor as skill is key for me :)
A local colleague recommended me this massage place since it's near our office and near the hotel I stayed during this personal trip, i.e. Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. One hour foot massage cost THB 250 / SGD 9.80 / USD 7.20 One hour back massage cost the same. I was there every evening after a whole day shopping to relieve the tired feet. Never once they failed me. All therapists were great. I gave them THB 100 as tips for their service after each massage, they really deserve it. There's also free Wifi at this place, so one can catch up with whatever they miss if the foreigner does not have data roaming abroad. Place is clean and decent. The only downside is (out of the many evening, only experienced once) when there's a group that comes together. They tend to talk and laugh as a group, that kind of disturb the rest who are there resting. A good place to visit for massage, especially if you are staying nearby.
This place was recommended by a friend who lives in BKK and has tried countless massage places. I usually only do foot massage because I'm not a fan of full body massages but I gave it a try here. The experience was not the best: weird set up, AC too cold, and masseuses, unaware I understand Thai, making fun of my friend and me for keeping our underwear on. HOWEVER, I went back multiple times for foot massage because of the many "small" massage places (meaning the cheap ones in the street, not luxurious spas) I tried all over Thailand, it was indeed the best foot massages I got, regardless of the masseuse. I also added a 30 min head and shoulder massage once but it wasn't that great either. Since this is very close to my now favorite hotel in BKK (Davis hotel), I'll definitely go back, but only for foot massage.

I’m a working mother who gets a massage every few weeks to ease muscle tensions. I usually see the same female massage therapist.
Recently, the receptionist said the therapist had just had a family emergency and had to leave.
I was offered a massage with a newly hired male therapist. I took it.
The experience was very disturbing … not from anything he did wrong, but from my reaction.
He was proper and professional, used a towel to cover my private area, and held it up to block seeing me when I turned over.
Yet I felt very aroused and restless. He was nice-looking but not overly so. I don’t know why I reacted so strongly.
Even thinking about him now makes me flushed.
I’m 40, with two school-age children. I love my husband and we have fairly regular sex.
Is there something wrong with me to have gotten so turned on by a stranger? Would it be playing with fire for me to keep seeing him for massage?
Or is this some kind of overdrive before menopause hits me?
It’s not that surprising that, being met with an unknown and previously unexpected male in a small massage room in which you’re mostly naked, that you’d feel restless and awkward, at the very least.
What was normally a time for you of total relaxation became charged with sexual awareness.
There’s nothing “wrong” with you regarding that first encounter.
As for menopause, age 40 can certainly bring some hormonal changes, including hot-and-bothering sweats, but they’re usually more negatively felt rather than a surge of sexual passion.
You’ll soon enough know whether you’ve started into having hot flashes or this was an isolated reaction.
Now for the most important question: Would you be playing with fire to have your regular massage with him? Absolutely!
You’d be anticipating the same reaction, perhaps even inviting it subconsciously.
It could lead to risking this man’s job if he responded to your vibe.
Look at it this way: You experienced an arousal that can be a turning point in your sex life with your husband.
Take that curiosity home and try something different — massage each other after the kids go to sleep. Cuddle naked. Make time for sex.
Reader’s commentary regarding the “Devastated Wife” (Oct. 21):
There are serious red flags in her response that she should address within herself through counselling (or whatever works for her).
Some connections between people are not traditional “crushes.” They’re on a deep spiritual level of just wanting to be around the other because of the joy they bring, and the acceptance that they show you.
With these connections, just being you is enough. That’s where the red flag shows in the wife’s response to her husband.
He’s been totally honest with her but it’s not enough for her.
Based on a similar situation experienced by my friend, I believe that this man can do nothing right in her opinion.
