Dopamine helps you stay motivated and also creates a feeling of satisfaction when you complete your homework! After all, both of these issues usually result in you putting off your homework until the very last minute. If you just can’t seem to stop doing your work at the last minute, try setting your own due dates for assignments that range from a day to a week before the assignment is actually due. Procrastinators know they’ll at least attempt the homework at the last minute, whereas people who are unmotivated struggle with convincing themselves to do it at all. Who will be supervising them, anyway? A while ago I was treating someone who was very worried that in a panic attack she would run out of air.
