A BBC presenter went completely starkers and lived her best life as she went skinny dipping on camera as the experience was described as a ‘shock.’

Wildlife presenter Kate Humble really and truly embraced her natural side when she shed her clothing while filming for BBC Two programme Kate Humble: Off the Beaten Track.
Accompanied by fellow skinny-dip fiend Natasha Brooks, the journalist said: ‘I can’t speak because it’s so cold!’ as the camera filmed them from behind.
The 49-year-old jumped in the river in Llynnau Cwm Silyn, Wales as Natasha described the experience: ‘As soon as you get rid of the swimming costume, there’s a sensory difference. It’s freer.
‘I feel it’s healthy to shed my layers and be me.
‘If you do it often, the shock [of hitting cold water] goes away. It makes you feel alive and it’s overwhelming.’
Kate appeared sold as she replied: ‘Well, I’ve got to try it now.’

After the pair swam in the nude for some minutes Kate told viewers: ‘Just swimming with every part of you in contact with the water is the most exhilarating feeling.’
She added, whilst towelling herself dry: ‘I feel 20 years younger, I feel completely reinvigorated. It was properly lovely. I loved it.’

Artist Natasha Brooks is serious about her swimming. Nothing gets in the way of it, not frigid water nor restrictive clothing. Her work is infused with water, specifically and frequently mountain water around her home base of Anglesey, North Wales, so this short film, Blue Hue, is a both a personal and creative expression of her passion for it. It also won the Women in Adventure award at the British Mountaineering Council competition, so we aren’t the only ones who like it.

In the film Natasha swims and floats naked in a wintery Llyn in Snowdonia, while discussing her love of swimming wild, free from boundaries between her body and the environment. Natasha's film is undoubtedly Art, a canon in which nudity is acceptable. But everyday nudity does not always receive the same welcome.
Natasha is not only the swimmer but also filmed and produced this video titled "Bluehue" herself. Her narration is as inspiring as the imagery. Her connection to the mountains, water, nature and her body seems to be strengthened by her regular plunges into the icy lakes.
