Narrowing It Down: How to Choose

Given dozens of combinations, the one that stalls projects comes down to this: what should I specify? Fortunately? A short sequence of choices eliminate the vast majority of options very quickly.

As a trusted steel deck supplier, we help make the decision simple and easy. Floor Deck This guide walks through the selection process.

Four Questions in Order

One: composite or form? Answering that split everything down the middle. Then: what's the framing grid? That distance determines the depth. Next: will there be temporary support? That set the gauge. Fourth: are there electrical distribution needs? If so, the cellular format enter play. That sequence and the choice becomes settled.

If you're specifying a recommendation or a straight order, Floor Deck help you.
