There is a good reason why Naomi Watts was included in the 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine and there’s an even better reason why King Kong would risk his own life to protect a totally different species.
Naomi is just one of the most beautiful, elegant, and glamorous women on the planet!
Born in England and raised in Australia before pursuing her acting career in America, Naomi is no stranger to critics, especially those who question her beauty and whether she’s had plastic surgery.
Today, I’ll try to find out the answers.
In order to see whether Naomi had any cosmetic work done, we’ll need to go through her pictures before and after she became famous.
This was the time Naomi made it to the mainstream television in Australia, starring in Hey Dad!, Brides of Christ, Home and Away, and also a comedy-drama, Flirting. She had a very young face for a 23-year-old with beautiful double eyelids, blue eyes, although you can see the baby fat on her face.
With proper makeup and hairdo, Naomi looks so much more mature. She still had rather chubby cheeks, nothing like the face we’re so familiar with. Her lips also seemed very thick back then, so it’s no wonder why some suggest that Naomi might’ve had lip reduction surgery. But we think it’s just her lipsticks playing tricks here.
Here she attends the Siblings Photographic Exhibition in Sydney. You can see that Naomi has lost most of her baby fat. Her chin is looking sharper, her nose is pointier and those dirty blonde hair is contrasting perfectly with her skin color, giving Naomi a very slim face shape.
After moving to America, she appeared in one of her very first Hollywood production, Tank Girl, with Lori Petty. This was her attending the film premiere with the classic electric blue eyeshadow and frosted pink lips.
After enjoying box office success in the remake of a Japanese horror movie, The Ring, Naomi was nominated at the 74th Annual Academy Awards. She wa looking absolutely stunning with her messy wavy blondes and plumped blushed cheeks in this girl next door look. It’s almost as good as cheek implants!
“It wasn’t the airplanes, it was beauty that killed the beast”, said Carl Denham (Starring Jack Black) in the famous remake of the hit movie, King Kong. That beauty, of course, was Naomi Watts and who could forget the way she communicated with the beast using nothing but her physical attractiveness.
Unfortunately, at age 37, that attractiveness is starting to fade as you can see some fine lines and wrinkles starting to appear around her eyes, forehead and neck area.
Here was Naomi dressing up as Marilyn Monroe while attending the Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy Met Costume Institute Gala. Her face looks a little plump here. Could this be the first sign of a Botox injection?
Without the makeup and heavy foundation, her face lines, crows feet and deep wrinkles are nowhere to hide. At age 41, it appears Naomi is experiencing a turbulence in aging. You just have to wonder what type of cosmetic cream and skin care range she uses…
Naomi has never been the kind of actress who needs big breasts and big butt. In fact, she has a rather slim figure and judging from this photo above, we can dismiss any breast augmentation claims.

At the 2014 ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere in France. Naomi Watts was definitely showing no signs of plastic surgery here, otherwise, her face wouldn’t look so dry and those deep lines above her eyebrows wouldn’t be so visible either.
Looking at this photo, we actually wish Naomi would consider some sort of cosmetic procedure to help her out. No disrespect but at age 48, she actually looks like a 60-year-old woman.
Seriously, every bit of her is starting to sag. Her eyes are drowning under a sea of mascara and her jawline has literally dropped to another level. Just imagine if she had a facelift, a browlift, and even a breast lift. She might just become the woman that King Kong loves so dearly again…
If you had told us this was Naomi, we probably wouldn’t have believed you. Apparently, this was her attending the Guggenheim International Gala in New York. With her reluctance to cosmetic surgery, perhaps her last line of defense would be the heavy makeup that she’s wearing.

Personally I feel, for me, it’s tough to do Botox…but it’s also tough not to! Sometimes, I think I need the help. Whatever anyone else chooses is fine with me, no judgment.
Perhaps she’s afraid that injecting filler is going to jeopardize her ability to play in a role, definitely a talent that she’s very proud of…and should be.
Of course, I want to look the best I can, but I am playing characters that should match my age and the women and the material that I am interested in are usually going through something. I have to be able to live in my face and tell the story of the character I’ve taken on. But…I’ll never say never.
The answer is pretty obvious. There has been no signs nor evidence suggesting that Naomi Watts has had any procedures done. No nose job, no fillers, nothing. Sometimes we even wonder whether she uses any cosmetics at all, given the deep lines on her face.
Instead of finding out about her transformation, we actually found her deteriorating at a fairly rapid rate, especially towards the last 3 years. Given that she’s not even 50 years old and the norm of staying youthful in her industry, we just wonder how much longer she can resist without asking a surgeon for help.
Of course, her decision will be very much respected but at the same time, we just couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if she’d just go through a simple facelift procedure, which could possibly reverse her age by as much as 10 years. Perhaps we just miss that beauty…very much.
