Namoz Vaqti — Privacy Policy
Namoz VaqtiLast updated: September 15, 2026
Namoz Vaqti ("the App") is a prayer times application for iOS. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the App uses and how.
Data we collect
We do not collect, store on servers, sell, or share any personal data. The App has no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising.
Data processed on your device only
- Location. With your permission, the App uses your device's location to calculate prayer times, the qibla direction, and to show nearby mosques. Your coordinates are processed only on your device and are never sent to our servers (we have none). You may instead select a city manually and never grant location access.
- Settings and activity. Your preferences (language, calculation method, adjustments), prayer tracker marks, and tasbih counts are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the App.
Network requests the App makes
- Nearby mosques (outside Uzbekistan). The App may query the OpenStreetMap Overpass API with approximate coordinates to find mosques near you. Inside Uzbekistan an offline database is used and no request is made.
- Update check. The App asks Apple's public iTunes API whether a newer version exists. No personal data is included.
- Map tiles. The map is provided by Apple Maps, subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
Notifications
Prayer-time notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification servers are used.
Children
The App does not collect data from anyone, including children.
