Students used books and mortar boards to hide their modesty and bragged 'they'd end up in newspapers' on social media
POSH Oxford students have been blasted for posing naked in their historic library.
They used books and mortar boards to hide their modesty at the 161-year-old university rooms.
The Exeter College group then posted the snap online and bragged they’d end up in the newspapers.
At the time a 200-strong group of revellers romped in rooms, exposed their breasts and smashed glasses.
They also include Bella Monkcom daughter of a millionaire insurance firm boss.
A student said: “It’s not ‘witty banter’, it’s disrespectful and has brought shame to the college. Everyone finds it terribly embarrassing.
“Disruption in the library is the last thing you want with exams only a few weeks away.”
Another said: “They came in late in the evening while I was working on an essay.
“It was a bit of a spectacle, most of them were completely naked and they’re not a bad-looking bunch.
“You could see everything. They were giggling and making smutty jokes.
“I put my headphones in to try and block them out.”
Oxford University declined to comment.

An elementary school virtual classroom nearly got an eyeful from one of the student’s mothers, who accidentally walked in naked while her daughter was on a Zoom call.
Ashley Smith, a mom from Jacksonville, Fla., says she was having a rather productive morning on May 5 before the now-viral incident — she had logged her three daughters onto their online classes, “hammered out some work” and was planning to take a shower before running out of the house to complete errands.
We found the coziest, softest memory-foam house slippers to keep your feet warm 24/7.
But after hopping out of the shower and walking into her bedroom to put on clothing, Smith realized her 7-year-old daughter had relocated herself from the home office to her mom’s room, bringing her computer and her classroom of first-grade peers along for the ride — and the accidental peep show.
“I heard a small voice say ‘hang on one second’ and then another one say ‘I think we need to hang up, we are going to get in trouble,'” Smith wrote on Facebook, recalling the moment she realized she was not alone in her room. “Ummmm, where in the heck are these voices coming from?”
“I’ll tell you where they were coming from,” she continued. “The perfectly angled computer sitting atop a pillow on my bed. While I was showering, the youngest one set up her Zoom meeting on my bed. Her computer was on my pillow, camera facing the middle of the room. Did I just walk naked into a zoom call? I DID!”
Smith shared a video of herself in a towel explaining the mortifying incident on Facebook, where it has since been viewed over 2 million times.
Although Smith said her initial reaction was pure embarrassment, she eventually decided to laugh at the situation.
“Do I like, write an apology note to all the parents?” she laughed in the clip. “Or pretend it didn’t happen or call them all liars and that they didn’t really see it?”
“How is this real life! I watch this stuff online and I’m like, ‘they’re lying, that didn’t really happen,'” she said, referencing a slew of journalists and other professionals who have had embarrassing , on-screen gaffes while working from home. “Except it does, it really really happens, and now a first-grade class just got a biology lesson from me. This is literally the most humiliating moment of my life.”
As luck would have it, Smith ultimately learned no kids were actually scarred in the making of her video.
“It has been confirmed that no child actually saw anything!” she later shared on Facebook. “They were getting off the call bc they would be in trouble for being in before the teacher. The timing couldn’t have been more awkward.”
Still, she says she hopes her mishap will serve as a reminder to others to be a little more cautious about their shared living spaces.
“This innocent mishap has brought joy and laughter to more than a million people since it happened,” she wrote . “Whether you have children at home on school calls, a significant other on work calls, or you are on work calls yourself, this is the REALITY of the times we are living in. I am sure that everyone has been a little more cautious in the last week.”

The daring charity calendar features members of the Rock n Roll Dancesport team performing acrobatic poses on the city's famous Mathematical Bridge (above), including one female student doing the splits
Another shows the women's football team using strategically placed boots to preserve their modesty.
Student Emma Teal, one of the organisers behind the naked calendar, said: 'We all really enjoyed making the calendar, although it did involve a lot of early mornings as we had to go to the locations when there weren't too many people about.
'I think the students surprised a few tourists when they posed on the Mathematical Bridge as it's very near a public path.
'We've had some comments that there's no way some of the sports men and women can look that good, but no one is edited, they really do look that naturally beautiful.'
Members of the lacrosse team dared to bare all in the Pembroke College library, using strategically-placed props to preserve their modesty
Meanwhile, members of the university's swimming team posed in front of the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences as part of the daring photoshoot
The Cambridge University sportsmen and women that took part in the naked shoot included the volleyball, skiing, American football and fencing teams.
The photos were taken at famous locations around the city, including the Botanical Gardens and the Cambridge Union.
Student organiser Ladislaya Ladanyi commented: 'All the teams were fantastic and very enthusiastic.
'Some of our outdoor shots were taken early in February when it was still snowing and still they didn't complain despite the freezing cold low temperatures.
Students from a range of sports teams got involved in the naked calendar shoot, including American football players who posed on a punt in front of the Bridge of Sighs
Members of the Cambridge University women's football team posed naked at Emmanuel College, using football boots and scarves to preserve their modesty
'Although the prospect of getting up and stripping off at dawn did not always seem very appealing to the team and models, the good-natured atmosphere and non-stop entertainment made the early mornings so much more enjoyable.'
Student Joanna Moest added: 'The hockey men started doing press ups before the shoot to make their muscles look pumped up.
'The Rock'n' Roll dance shoot one of the hardest as it was freezing and it's a really exposed bridge so we had lots of very confused early morning walkers.'
Photographer Kevin Low said he has had a 'great time' shooting the naked charity calendar.
The range of locations used for the naked calendar also included the famous Cambridge Union, where the skiing team posed in the debating chamber
Meanwhile, the university's volleyball team decided to pose nude in one of the greenhouses at the city's Botanical Gardens for the charity calendar
'It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the most challenging and fulfilling photography project that I've ever worked on,' he said.
'Many people think that you have to give money to contribute to charity but I think getting off your bum, stripping off and posing for photos is a great way as well.'
The calendar costs £10, with all proceeds going to Beat Eating Disorders, Mary's Meals, Papyrus and Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre.
Oh dear, this is so dated and all been done before...
