Im 41 and recently joined a new gym. I have an average/athletic build and like to keep healthy. Im proud of everything that defines me as a man. I find it interesting that men my age have no problem hanging out in the lockerroom naked. But I've noticed younger men will strip for the showers but cover their penises with their hands or a towel. They wrap a towel around their waist to walk to the showers and go into the showers, close the curtain, then hang their towel out side their shower stall. Are they ashamed of their penises? Ashamed to be men? Its a gym lockerroom. Men get naked. What's with this?

50 years and more - had to undress, walk to the shower (no stalls, just center column w/4 heads) naked, then pick up a towel after getting out - dry off in the shower area, leave the towel, then walk back to your locker, and then get dressed!! I didn't have a problem with that because that is the way it was done for me in the early 60's

My company has a health club in our building with multiple individual showers fairly private with curtains. We have some married men who seem to take long showers. Wonder if they're taking advantage of having a few minutes privacy without wife and kids to "rub one out".
