In a new feature with Harper's Bazaar , Emily Ratajkowski sits down with feminist author Naomi Wolf to address "sexuality, shaming, and the notorious Kim Kardashianselfie," yet again. The brunette beauty speaks openly about being perceived as a woman at a very young age, her social approach to making political statements, and the fact that she believes sex, desire and attention are completely normal.
On looking like a woman at just 14-years-old: "I genuinely hit puberty before everyone. So I really was more sexual than my classmates. My teachers, my boyfriends, my parents' friends didn't understand how complex it all was. Because of third-wave feminism, I understood that there are all these f***ed-up ideals of beauty put on young women; that there was something to be scared about in the entertainment world. But yet the people I knew in my everyday life, they [didn't realize] their faux pas, their missteps, and since they knew me it was that much harder because the comments felt personal."
On never apologizing for being beautiful: "That's something we really forget in this world, especially in my industry and being in the public eye as a female. There's this idea that if a man enjoys a photograph of a nude woman or if he likes your short skirt, he's taking something away from you...It's not right. Sex is normal. Desire is normal. Attention is normal, and that's okay. That's really what slut shaming is, right? You talk about this in your book Promiscuities. A woman talks about having sex, and it's like, well, a guy got to have sex with you, so you're stupid. You've given something up."

ICYMI, Beyoncé broke the internet last night when she uploaded a snap of herself wearing nothing but silver jewellery and silver heels as she sat on a glittery horse (which isn't real by the way, so you can end that panicked call to PeTA).
"Act i RENAISSANCE 7.29", she wrote in the caption, alluding to her upcoming seventh album that'll be released on 29 July. "Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving," she added.
The 40-year-old singer went on: "My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.
"I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are."
Understandably, fans were *obsessed* with the pic – as well as the very rare caption. "OKAY QUEEN OF THE WORLD", one fan commented on her Instagram post, with another writing: "YOURE UNBELIEVABLE!"
Someone else commented, "I’m always honoured to get a caption from you", as a fourth fan chimed in with: "OH YOU WRITING CAPTIONS NOW?! Is this what Renaissance did to you?"
