They just don't make em like this anymore: an absolute classic. Amazon Prime needs more like this, instead of all these B, C, and D movies they have on here.
And for a good reason! People just shouldn't laugh so hard.
Also, nothing in these movies would pass the PC test today.
Zucker I think used to write the Mad Magazine movie spoofs, which were hilarious.
A feature of his spoofs was he inserted gags everywhere and multiple gags into any scene.
Even in the credits, read them, and you will see gags.
This one and the second one take the cake. The third one jumps the shark by a mile and gets raunchy and loses the original flavor. But this first one especially is right in the vein of Police Squad.
Still makes me laugh after all these years :)
If you are a fan of absurd slapstick like comedy, then this is the movie for you.
One of the funniest flicks ever made.
This is pure slapstick with the best cast possible.
Filled with gags and hilarity throughout, very reminiscent of Airplane!. Would recommend to anyone, it's timeless fun.
