100% rate this palette. Pigmentation is 10/10. The only problem I find with urban decay is the brushes. I think people struggling with pigmentation is due to using the brush that comes with the shadows. Get yourselves a decent brush and this is 10/10. Or maybe urban decay could up their brush game?! All the pallets have this same brush!
A beautiful looking palette but even with primer and good brushes there is lots of fallout and takes several applications to build up a strong look. This great though if you want something subtle.
I had been looking at this pallet for quiet some time and had been really struck by the vibrant colours. I had a family wedding coming up and thought I would treat myself... man was I disappointed!!
On the whole Cult Beauty delivered quickly and there was no issue with that, the pallet looked lovely and well packaged but when it comes to the actual shadow I was extremely disappointed! The colour of the pack does not transfer the same on to the eye... some of the colours take 4/5 applications before you can even see a speck of colour! When you do finally get a good amount on within a few hours it has creased and patchy... I have tried with and without primer and each time the same result!
I would think twice about buying this at full price.
The formula is similar to Honey- if you're going for one UD palette pick Heat, because that's buttery and every colour is amazing with great pay-off and durability.
I got this off the back of the Palette Party discount and because I wanted to experiment with purples, and whilst the pigment is lighter than usual, I think it's meant to look like a 90s sort of grungy wash of colour- think Glossier more than Instagram model. t's subtle and the best colour is Lucid, which to be honest reminds me of those colour shift Topshop eyeshadows from back in the day. So this is not a must-buy but it's not awful, either, the colours are nice and I'll probably use them to layer lightly over the better matte shades from the Heat and Cherry palettes.
I loved the colors but it’s not very pigmented which means you have to apply it so many times or use setting spray on the brush to pick some color up beside a strong eyeshadow primer to apply on for hold...
