Cruise ship balconies & nudity, anyone ever get a negative reaction from the Balcony next to you? I am often naked on our balcony, especially Sea Days, but I worry about offending other passengers.

There are also some angled balconies on some ships - standing at the railing on of those you can see down the other balconies and other balconies can see your balcony.

And on some ships, cabins on higher decks are able to see the balconies of cabins lower down. All of this is assuming an ocean view balcony, not something like a central park / boardwalk balcony on Oasis class ships where you have the people on the other side of the ship able to see everything.
Since I will have my first balcony on a cruise that I am leaving for today I don't have a point of reference as to how easy it is to see someone in the nude. I am stating here that at no time will I be nude on my balcony.

We had that happen when we went on a Princess Cruise. As you may know, Princess ships have a cascading balcony set up. We were on the Baja deck, and I came out on the balcony one day, looked down and there was a man butt naked lying on his stomach sunbathing. We were stopping at St Martin that trip so maybe he was just preparing for Orient Beach.

You should assume that someone has at least tried to have sex on approximately every square inch of every cruise ship. Balcony sex happens on every sailing. It's common enough, and so long as you practice some basic decency, you won't get in trouble.
