When buying a cosplay online there are a couple things to expect. It is either going to provide decent quality or be as close to accuracy as it can be. Keep in mind this review is about purchasing online costumes not taking into account making your own. This one was more on the accurate side than quality. By that I mean that this is the second costume from miccostume that I have purchased and the second costume that has the exact same issue. The issue is that the buttons are always cheaply secured. First thing I did was check the pants in the zipper and button area and saw that the button was almost falling off. It is however an easy fix for anyone with a needle and a bit of string. After that the quality of the rest of the costume is basically what you see in the pictures of the seller. Follow the dimensions and you should be great on your purchase. I have only purchased by checking waist size and so far everything has fit me perfectly, no issue there. The only issue is that these aren't meant to really be used multiple times without upkeep. Make sure if you buy you know that you might have to secure all the buttons (on the vest and one on pants) like I had to. Other than that it is a decent costume. If you need a decent costume and don't or can't make your own, I would recommend this.

i’m a really skinny person, and i fit well into an XS. however, this costume was beyond disappointing. for one, the vest is what I expected. loosely attached buttons, and the fit was a little weird. but it fit, so i wasn’t too disappointed. the shirt, also kinda weird. it fit for the most part, but the sleeves were oddly placed so i couldn’t bend my arms without it feeling tight at the elbows, so the solution was to move them more above my elbow (which didn’t really work as it didn’t stay up). i didn’t bother opening up the tie (I already had one, and i could tell the quality was just poor). however, the pants didn’t fit well at all, & i’ve never ordered a full cosplay set before, so this first impression was pretty saddening. the waist fit alright, but the pant legs were so big it was like they were meant for an XL. like i said, i’m skinny, but everything else fit pretty much fine. i wasn’t sure if I should get it tailored or not but i eventually decided it wasn’t worth it cause the overall quality of the cosplay just.. wasn’t good enough. it would’ve been more expensive to go get it tailored than to just purchase one that fits properly. i don’t recommend purchasing it if you wear an XS, or maybe even a S. EDIT: about a month ago i tried getting in contact with the company about the costume. the Amazon seller was unable to help me since they didn’t make the costume, so i reached out to Miccostumes (the costume maker). they said the model in the photo had “slim model” pants, which is just false advertising if they don’t sell that size. they looked to be wearing an XS or S and the pants were much skinnier looking than mine. i don’t understand why you wouldn’t sell those pants with that size if you’re using it in the photo. again, thoroughly disappointed :/

Purchased this for my daughter. Shipped super fast. Every piece of the outfit (shirt, vest, pants, and a tie) came in perfect condition, packed inside individual sealed bags. It's obvious it's brand new and not used items like some other buyers experienced. Every piece has that "new clothes" smell. We purchased XS size (men) for our 12 year old daughter (5'1"), and everything fits perfectly. Good thing we did not order S or larger. XS is perfect fit for her.
