WATCH: Shirley MacLaine Does The Cagle Exercise – and Admits She Forgot the Last Time She Felt Sexy It’s been a long time since Shirley MacLaine has felt sexy. The Terms of Endearment Oscar winner, 81, sat down with PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle during a Sirius XM town hall for a rapid-fire Q&A game called The Cagle Exercise – and MacLaine revealed more than a few intimate details about herself. From the movie she’s seen the most times ( Inherit the Wind ) to what she’s really bad at (“Patience! I have no patience”), the actress held nothing back while in the hot seat. So when does MacLaine feel sexiest? “I forgot,” she tells Cagle as she shrugs her shoulders and laughs. MacLaine also says her friends would describe her as “sometimes a rough teacher” and admits that her greatest extravagance is simply dark chocolate with almonds. And while she doesn’t know what animal she would compare herself to, she reveals why she has a special connection with elephants. “I remember a lifetime living with a herd of elephants in, I think, Africa,” she explains. “I adore elephants.” What does she love the smell of? And how would she sum up her life in one sentence? Watch the video above for more revelations. While Field lovingly jokes that Julia Roberts is a “pig,” MacLaine took a more sentimental stance, calling herself Roberts’ “big sister, mother.” And when Cagle brought up Daryl Hannah , both women couldn’t help but crack a few jokes at her expense. “Daryl was the hippie of the group,” says Field, while MacLaine joked, “Who is that man you said you were with last weekend?” Shirley MacLaine’s latest book, Above the Line , is available now. Her Town Hall on Sirius XM, hosted by PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle, will be broadcast March 24 at 2 p.m. ET on EW Radio. View comments
