Diversity statement university (Ulster) hi my name is Layla amata LeBaron I am a documentary photographer based in Brooklyn New York born and raised I my approached to my art is to document communities I've documented communities in europe west africa south africa and of course the united states the film you're about is the film that you're about to see is an extension of my photo project that i did on the by fall which is a sufi community in Senegal West Africa and what's so special about this film is that I got a chance to incorporate a lot of the sound recordings that I did while in Senegal photographing this community and so the sound you'll hear are actually religious spiritual chanting called Zickuhr and there's different styles from all over the regions of Senegal so I was excited to incorporate that into my film thank you so much i hope you enjoy see hey haha by Carla ah ah they get through the next be about you Kingsborough Community College, Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn. https://PaperHelp.space
