I thought that Angus Taylor lost the press conference.

He sold people false hope.

He talked about reforming immigration, but said nothing about problematic people already in Australia.

He said he wants to protect Australian values but said nothing about the disastrous hate speech legislation.

He said he will address the cost of living crisis, but won’t do anything to address the root cause of the crisis which is the current household debt bubble & structural problems in Australia’s banking system.

He said nothing on the most fundamental political issue plaguing Australia which is the loss of trust in politicians & our political institutions.

He said nothing about how he plans to restore trust.

No one will listen to him if they don’t trust him.

This is fundamental politics & I don’t think he understands it.
