NLSound v2.4 STABLE [QCom Devices] Changelog

NLSound v2.4 STABLE [QCom Devices] Changelog

NLSound Team

Global changes to the installation script:

  • Completely rewritten from scratch;
  • Changed the logic of the script, now you do not need to wait for the application of parameters after confirming a particular item, you immediately configure the modification as you like, and at the end of the modification in the background will install what you selected during the configuration process;
  • Now, instead of using the old button click handler, a new one is used, which in turn changed the script logic for the better and increased fault tolerance, as well as accelerated the script operation;
  • Thanks to the completely rewritten logic of the script, the script itself "lost weight" from 3200 lines of code to 1800, which also affected the speed of its work and the cost of machine time;
  • Now the human factor is excluded, which is that I could forget to synchronize the settings between different languages of the installer;

Other general changes:

  • Removed a large number of duplicate parameters from the script (this is my mistake from the 2.4 BETA, forgive me);
  • Fixed an issue where after installing the modification, you could hear the volume imbalance on the headphone channels;
  • Fixed an issue where some users could hear audio from the upper microphone when making audio calls through the speaker;
  • Fixed an issue where a large number of users did not have the proximity sensor working after installing the module.;
  • Fixed an issue that caused users to hear white noise from the speaker in some cases.;
  • Improved IIR: now they do not affect your device's microphones in any way;
  • Updated IIR settings;
  • Now, every time you start your device, the module will activate the High Performance DAC.;
  • The High-Pass Filter is enabled correctly;
  • The lines that edit are removed from the script/creating the headphones-dsd block;
  • Changed Dirac settings: now you should not encounter overloads on the external speaker;
  • Reduced the size of the deep buffer from 384 kb to 32 kb;
  • Reduced stagefright size from 384 kb to 128 kb;
  • Added Redmi 7 to support;
  • Once again, the patching of your device's media codecs has been improved: now not only the AAC codec incoder is being changed, but also the decoder;
  • Removed all TFA amp settings;
  • Disabled RAS for media;
  • Added deep buffer sensitivity settings (only work if you didn't disable the deep buffer);
  • The processing complexity of the AAC codec decoder is now equal to the maximum value;
  • Hardware AAC is disabled by default;
  • Redesigned the final scene of your audio: now you should hear more details, pleasant little things and generally feel the sound more warm and harmonious in its sound;
