NLP Engineer (Python)

Our client is a well known sales data and intelligence platform provider. We’re looking for a specialist that will join their team for a long term and provide help in building chrome extensions and tools for clients and internal usage.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in data science with a focus on deep neural nets, statistics, empirical data analysis, machine learning and Natural Language Processing

- 3+ years of experience as a natural language processing engineer

- Advanced experience with Python, Pandas, Scikit, NLTK, and familiarity with Pytorch/Keras/Tensorflow

- Experience applying statistical methods (distribution analysis, classification, clustering, etc.)

- Excellent analytical skills required to mine data, develop algorithms and then analyze results to determine decisions or actions

- Experience with NLP algorithms, tools, frameworks eg: Spacy, BERT, ULMFIT, FLAIR

- Experience in topic modelling, and text vectoring techniques

- Experience with classification algorithms - KNN, SVM, decision trees, ensemble techniques

- Experience with neural network approaches to text classification CNN, RNN, LSTM

- Experience with clustering algorithms – K-means, PCA

- Knowledge in pyspark is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field

- Willingness to work overtime, when necessary, to meet project deadlines

- B2 English

Responsibilities:

- Develop highly capable NLP applications and products in collaboration with other NLP experts, research and development team members

- Keep code integrity and organization, maintain quality standards and ensure application performance, implement security features that provide data protection.

- Transform natural language data into items that are useful in NLP applications and products
