Now we are looking for an NLP analyst for our linguistic teams working in the domains of AI-based translation, grammar correction, big data processing, and similar. We need advanced, talented, creative persons with abilities to redesign, optimize and improve modern linguistic engines and tools. The candidate needs not only be an 'academic' guy, although travels to visit colleagues and take part in conferences are welcomed, but also be capable to make a considerable contribution to the practical development of language tools from initial ideas to design and production.

This NLP Analyst position is opened in our office in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. You are welcome if you have a higher education and excellent skills in Computer Linguistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or similar. Of course, the candidate must have an excellent spoken and written command of English. We develop linguistic software, so the knowledge of other foreign languages is a significant advantage.

We are working on interesting, modern and complex projects, our workflow is a team oriented.

Therefore, 'pure' remote employment options are not considered! We require a candidate with a relevant experience of at least 6 years!

You will be in charge of:

Proposing ideas, hypothesis, and models to use modern NLP approaches for the development of new products or improving the existing ones;
Evaluation of existing newest NLP approaches and models to use in our linguistic products;
Making a considerable contribution to the practical development of language tools from initial ideas to design and production;
Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for training and testing NLP models;
Finding and collecting the problems in our products and proposing the solutions based on modern NLP.

We expect:

Minimum of six years of relevant experience in NLP, the more experience the better;
Good knowledge of most popular ML/NLP frameworks such as SKLearn, NLTK, spaCy, Genesis, etc.;
Good knowledge of modern models and approaches in ML/NLP;
Experience in language modeling using TensorFlow2+, PyTorch and similar;
Proven software engineering skills in Python programming, fluent use scientific packages (Numpy, Pandas, Matptotlib, etc.). Skills in other languages (C# , Java, etc.) is a significant plus;
High level in algorithmics;
Prioritization skills with the attention to details.
