NFT marketplace Magic Eden partners with MoonPay to make credit card payments

NFT marketplace Magic Eden has partnered with Web3 payment platform MoonPay to offer new payment options for buying digital collectibles.
According to the press release, Magic Eden users will be able to purchase NFTs across multiple networks using credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The goal of the strategic partnership is to make it easier for new users to connect.
"Our goal is to make NFTs accessible to everyone by allowing people to own and control their digital assets," said Magic Eden Chief Operating Officer Zhuosun Yin.
Earlier this month, MoonPay teamed up with the LooksRare platform to allow platform users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through MoonPay and purchase NFTs with a credit card.
The company raised $555 million in November 2021, allowing it to continue building strategic partnerships. MoonPay also overcame a regulatory hurdle in December, obtaining registration with the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to confirm compliance with local anti-money laundering regulations, Binance.
